Hate the prices you pay? The #1 fuel company, Exxon-Mobil, sets the US prices per gallon. If questioned about rising prices, they cry poverty and claim that there is a derth in oil production. They also claim that the refineries need repairs. Finally, they site tension in Nigeria. All this adds up to one major lie. In truth, Exxon-Mobil posted the highest profits ever during the period when we were paying the highest pump prices in American history. The goal is to force the US to pay the same prices as Europeans - $4 to $6 per gallon. Exxon Mobil price gouge. Politicians do nothing for fear of the lobbyists and because of kickback schemes.Contact your local politicoes and ask them why prices are soaring and Exxon Mobil is raking in record profits. Then ask what the government, specifically your local senators and representatives are going to do about it. Chances are, nothing. Then remind them that this is a major drain on the US economy, and it may effect your vote.Time to stop this direct assault upon America. President Bush is worried about terrorists - yes they are a threat. However, the economic threat posed by the oil companies is just as much of a threat to the millions of Americans suffering because of corporate greed.
